Join us as we attempt to connect two communities that are all about connection: Argentine Tango and Contact Improvisation! BOTH communities are always looking for ways to draw new dancers in, and what better way than to come together in an exchange of new skills and ideas?
We find that many tango dancers are looking for ways to “cross-train” and improve both their physical skills and artistry, whether it’s with yoga, pilates, ballet, or other partner dances. Contact Improv is a great option, and offers a more open-ended approach to creativity between partners.
As for Contact Improv enthusiasts, they are curious about tango’s approach to partnering and musicality, and they seem to take to tango like ducks in water!

| 7:45 – 11:45 PM | Milonga La Capital with DJ Cristina | Our new C.I. friends are welcome to enjoy a milonga (tango social). |
