Your first tango classes will give you the foundations for exploring this creative, improvisational social dance. You will learn:
- How to create a great tango embrace
- Your first figures
- A brief bit about this history of tango and its cultural context
- How to be a good tango citizen!
All students will learn both roles from the beginning.
$130 per person (incl. HST), includes entrance to our Sunday Práctica

As this is a progressive class, no drop-ins permitted.
Option #2: Join the Tango Garden on Mondays
Ideal for those who want to dance at tango socials right away, or for those who do not have a partner
Mondays from 8:15 to 10:15 PM

Start your journey at the Tango Garden, where you’ll grow one tango skill each week and apply it immediately at a low-key, fun social! You will learn:
- the basics of the tango walk
- how tango socials work
- your first figures
- how to enjoy being a part of the tango community
All students will learn both roles from the beginning.
$135 per person (incl. HST)
$70 for full-time students (show student ID)

- Your first figures
- How to improve your balance, coordination, and aesthetics
- How to apply your skills at a tango social
