On Monday Nights, we strive to create a space for new tango dancers to grow and for experienced dancers to cultivate their skills and sense of community.
We invite our community members to enjoy the community spaces at Bronson Centre (211 Bronson Avenue).
Tango for Beginners

6:15 – 7:30 PM
Your first tango classes will give you the foundations for exploring this creative, improvisational social dance. You will learn:
- How to create a great tango embrace
- Your first figures
- A brief bit about this history of tango and its cultural context
- How to be a good tango citizen!
All students will learn both roles from the beginning. As this is a progressive class, no drop-ins permitted.
Price:
- Early Bird until January 13: $250 per person, includes HST.
- After January 13: $270 per person, includes HST. You can pay in 2 installments.
- Your class fees include the práctica at 5: 15 PM from January 18, and Thursday Tango Labs starting in February 2026.
Classic Figures and Classic Forms for Intermediate Dancers

7:45 – 9:15 PM
This class is ideal for the person who has been dancing for awhile but needs a reset. There are classic moves that every long-time dancer should know, and knowing these figures intimately makes learning new material simple.
Class (1 hour) + Guided Practice (30 mins): Drop in, $20 per person (includes HST)
All three classes: $50
