On Monday Nights, we strive to create a space for new tango dancers to grow and for experienced dancers to cultivate their skills so that they can dance beyond the classroom.

101 A Main Street
Your first tango classes will give you the foundations for exploring this creative, improvisational social dance. You will learn:
- How to create a great tango embrace
- Your first figures
- A brief bit about the history of tango and its cultural context
- How to be a good tango citizen!
All students will learn both roles from the beginning. As this is a progressive class, no drop-ins permitted.
Price:
- Early Bird until September 14: $160 per person, includes HST.
- After June 9: $180 per person, includes HST.
- 30-and-under: $90 per person, includes HST.
- Your class fees include the práctica at 5: 15 PM for the duration of your class, Thursday Tango Labs starting in October 2026, and one 45-minute private session with Jewel.

This class is ideal for the person who has been dancing for a while but wants to build confidence for the social dance floor. Let’s practice our close embrace and use these skills in things like cross system walks, ochos, turns, and more.
Topics are small in nature but we go deep into details. This class can get advanced quickly, but not in the way you’d expect.
Class (1 hour) + Guided Practice (30 mins): Drop in, $25 per person (includes HST)
All 3 classes: $60
