- Beginners from 1:00 to 2:30 PM
- Improvers from 2:30 to 4:00 PM
- Intermediate-advanced from 4:00 to 5:15 PM
BEGINNERS
Tango 101
Sundays from 1:00 to 2:30 PM

Your first tango classes will give you the foundations for exploring this creative, improvisational social dance. You will learn:
- How to create a great tango embrace
- Your first figures
- A brief bit about this history of tango and its cultural context
- How to be a good tango citizen!
All students will learn both roles from the beginning.

Tango 102

You’ll learn:
- cross system vs. parallel system
- how to create ochos and simple paradas

IMPROVER / ALL-LEVELS
Intro to the In-Between
Sundays, 2:30 – 4:00 PM
March 16, 23; April 6, 13, 27
We will expand your vocabulary by introducing the most basic ganchos, barridas, and sacadas. Challenging for those newer to tango, super helpful for intermediates, and an opportunity to examine details for more experienced dancers.
Pre-requisite: At least 1 previous session of 2:30 PM Classes
Price: $125 per person. Your class fees include the práctica at 5 PM.

Improver Level: Rhythmic Tango, Milonga, Close Embrace
Sundays, 2:30 – 4:00 PM
May 4, 11, 25, June 1
For this Improver Level session, we will concentrate on Rhythmic Close Embrace tango and Milonga Basics. This is ideal for those who want to improve their footwork and reaction time, and will be a help to those who want to have more fun at the tango socials. Get ready to rock and roll!
Pre-requisite: At least 1 previous session of 2:30 PM Classes

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED
CANCELLED: Follower Sacadas to Explore
Sunday, 4:00 to 5:15 PM
March 30
This class will continue our exploration of follower sacadas. We did a complex one on March 27; however, you needn’t have attended that class to drop-in. The sacada for March 30 will equal that one in complexity and will HELP with previous material.
Pre-requisite: Basic sacada knowledge and a lack of fear

Enrosques for Leaders and Followers
Sundays, 4:00 to 5:15 PM
April 6, 13
This class will serve as a review of Maxi’s Enrosque Technique class for leaders, as well as an expansion of that knowledge for both leaders and followers. We will explore easy opportunities to add enrosques into your dance, and up our balance and coordination!
Pre-requisite: Basic turns and knowing what an enrosque is

Sunday Special with Anne and Jacques
Sunday, 4:00 to 5:15 PM
April 27
This class will serve as a review of the “Pausing Elaborate Movements” workshop, but you needn’t have taken that class to enjoy these this special workshop. Anne and Jacques will expand on those ideas and add some helpful tips for dramatic musicality

Let’s Run! Quick and Rhythmic Combos

This mini-session will serve as an expansion on the rhythmic combo we learned from Paloma and Maxi. (It is not necessary to have attended that workshop.) Quick turns, pivots, and fancy footwork are in store for you with this mini-session, so you can run to D’Arienzo, Troilo, or Laurenz!
Pre-requisite: Int-adv level
