In Ottawa, it’s forecasted to be the coldest day of a cold snap this Saturday. We welcome you to join us for an afternoon of Argentine Tango, warm embraces, and cozy movement!
This is a perfect opportunity for:
- Absolute beginners who are curious about tango
- Dancers who have not been on the dance floor for a long time
- Dancers who are interested in learning the opposite role

| 3:05 – 5:00 PM | Beginner Bootcamp. You might be immediately taken with tango and want to learn more. Well, no more waiting until the next week! Stay for the bootcamp and get a more complete Intro to Argentine Tango. | Just $35! Register here. |
| 6:00 – 7:30 PM | Community Movie Night. We will be showing the movie Our Last Tango. Open to those who attend the Lesson and/or Bootcamp. | Free! |
| 7:30 – 11:30 PM | Milonga La Capital. This is Ottawa’s premier Argentine Tango social, held once a month. | Free for those who are brand-new to tango. |
Some important information:
- COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: We recommend you get your booster vaccines and flu shots as they become available. We highly recommend masks. Please have a mask handy if someone you would like to dance with prefers that you wear one also.
- NO PARTNER NECESSARY if you are okay with switching partners. If you are not okay with this, you must attend with a partner that you know and trust, and you don’t have to switch if you don’t want to.
- SHOES: Please bring a pair of clean indoor shoes to change into. If you have dance shoes, that’s great. If you have neither, a pair of cozy socks will suffice.
